Fundraising Events

Help AEA raise funds for its Scholarship Program:

Krispy Kreme
Purchase a Krispy Kreme Partnership Card for $10.00.  With this card, you can purchase any dozen donuts and receive a dozen Original Glazed FREE.  The card is valid for up to 10 free dozen (limit 3 free dozen per visit).

Donate a Phone
Help AEA raise funds for its Scholarship Program without any cost to you.  AEA collects any cell phones (working or not working) and donates them to " DONATE A PHONE Program" sponsored by "The Wireless Foundation". This program takes cell phones and rehabs, and programs them with emergency number in order to provide phones to victims of domestic violence. By donating your cell phone, you are not only helping the environment by keeping these cell phones out of landfills, you are also helping victims of domestic violence. For every phone turned in, AEA will receive at least $1.00 (if it's still in good-working condition).  So not only will you be contributing to the AEA scholarship program, you will also be contributing to the community.

Holiday Craft Fair
Are you artsy crafty?  Do you knit?  Do you sew?  Do you bake?  Do you make unique or one-of-a-kind things?  AEA will hold a Holiday Crafts Fair/Bake Sale fund‑raiser on Monday, December 5th, 2005 in the Exhibit Room at 530 Water Street , between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm .  We welcome anyone who would like to participate by selling their hand-made crafts or home-made baked goods.

AEA will have home-baked cakes, cookies, and other delectables on sale along with gift baskets. Please stop by and fulfill your sweet-tooth. Not for those on the Atkins diet. Please contact Catherine Uemura for further details at 627-1337.

AEA SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER AND AWARDS DINNER

AEA has combined their annual fundraising dinner and their scholarship awards luncheon into one event. It is now called AEA Scholarship Fundraiser and Awards Dinner. It was held on Friday, May 20, 2005. Please contact Leanne Law for further details at 627-1553.
